Starting 2001, OComp has served the offshore, maritime and fish sectors in Norway with a broad spectrum of competence enhancing activities like training, competence management, consulting and R&D.

How does OComp stand out as a course supplier?

Local courses, close to home.

Typically, other course suppliers have course facilities on fixed locations with stationary equipment. OComp on the other hand has 23 approved course centres along the Norwegian coastline, on places where the demand for courses is fulfilled by arranging courses a few times per year.

Specialist competence

Our background in R&D within HSE gives us a significant competitive advantage by knowing the latest research in practice, theory and technology at all levels of the hierarchy so that our instructors can convey cutting edge knowledge to our course participants.

Advanced technology and easy interface

OComp’s management and booking systems has since it’s start in 2002 been the most advanced in the Norwegian market, and has been used both for inhouse courses and for reselling courses for suppliers throughout Norway.

OComps instructors all have solid industry experience on all levels withing practical execution and management.

User friendly technology for participants

We use e-learning on most of our courses, which saves several days of physical attendance on location, and thus cuts cost and travel expenses. E-learning utilises acknowledged pedagogical tools, and the feedback from participants is satisfactory.
